Welcome

Visitors and prospective new members are always welcome.

Membership of the society entitles you to:

  • Receive four copies of the Society's magazine "Observer" each year. The "Observer" contains up-to-date news of our hobby, both local and overseas, and articles written by experts to increase your knowledge of Phillumeny.

  • Receive a membership list of all fellow members from which you can select your own correspondents in Australia and Overseas.

  • Purchase labels, booklets and skillets from the "markette" at moderate prices.

  • Participate in the Monthly and Annual Postal Auctions.

Application Form

  • Offer material for sale through these auctions - The Society taking 12.5% commission on sales.

  • Participate in the label, booklet and skillet "Round Robin" exchanges or alternatively, you may exchange up to 100 labels at a time with the Society's exchange pool.

  • Advertise in the "Observer" for as little as $7.50 (1/4 page) to obtain the elusive labels you need or, for disposing of your surplus material.

  • Attend the regular meetings held in Melbourne and Adelaide to exchange knowledge and material with fellow collectors

Annual Subscription rates

AUSTRALIA: Adults $25.00, Juniors $11.00, Associates $10.00

OVERSEAS: Adults $27.00, Juniors $13.00, Associates $12.00

If you live overseas, please remit by money order or US $ bills. Overseas members now have two options, due to high postage costs:

Option 1 = Four soft copy emails plus one hard copy mailing of all four issues at year end, subscription $42.00 ($27.00 plus airmail supplement $15.00)

Option 2 = Four hard copy mailings ie. each issue still mailed, subscription $62.00 ($27.00 plus airmail supplement $35.00)

Remember, your cheques must be made out to the Australian Match Cover Collectors Society Inc., in full, NOT to the AMCCS.
